Privacy & data

How Sirony Angel Guard handles a child's information. Written for parents, aligned with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and Rules 2025.

What we collect

The wearable sends its location (GPS, Wi-Fi and cell signals), battery and signal level, and SOS/tamper events to Sirony's server in India. The school records the child's name, class, and the parents' names and phone numbers so alerts reach the right people.

Why — and nothing else

Only for the child's safety, protection and security: live location for parents and the school, the SOS response chain, safe-zone and attendance notices, and finding a child if a device goes dark. We do not profile children, show advertising, or sell or share location data with anyone.

Who can see it

How long we keep it

Consent

Real-time location for safety is provided through the school. For location history and analytics beyond real-time safety, the school records the parent's consent in the child's profile. You may withdraw it, or ask for your child's data to be erased, by writing to your school or to alerts@sirony.in.

Security

Encrypted connections, role-based access, two-factor authentication for staff, audited listen-in, and daily backups. In the unlikely event of a breach we will inform affected parents and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
